Product Packaging and Shipping/Refund and Return Policy

While it is our sincerest desire for you to be completely satisfied with any purchase that you may make from Ken’s Custom Prints and Frames, our Refund and Return Policy necessarily has limitations in scope and time. This policy is defined below and is divided into two sections: (a) Custom Prints, and (b) Custom Framed Products.

Custom Prints

When you purchase a custom photographic print from on our website, the print that you receive will have been printed from the original file photo taken by Ken himself. The print will be reproduced from the file photo using only genuine Canon Chromalife Inks and Canon Photographic Paper. The print will likewise meet the highest quality standards for clarity and color balance to most closely match that of the original file photo and the photo as it appears on our website. Each photo is closely inspected after printing to assure that these quality standards have been met prior to preparing the photo for shipping to you, the customer. Additionally, each photographic print is enclosed in a protective, non-reactive plastic envelope. The print and protective envelope are then placed in the outer shipping envelope which is constructed of a thick cardboard material to prevent the contents from being damaged by folding or bending in shipment.

As such, Returns of custom prints will not be accepted. However, if it can be shown that some damage to a print occurred in the shipping transit process, any Refund will be limited to the replacement of the print itself as originally ordered. In no case will replacement of more than one print per customer be considered except in the event that multiple prints were ordered at the same time and damaged in the same shipment.

To report a Refund claim, kindly contact us via the email address below. In your correspondence with us, please include the following:

1) Your First and Last Name and the Order Number associated with the purchase in question;

2) a valid Contact Telephone Number;

3) One or more pictures of the print(s) in question which clearly demonstrate the damage being reported;

4) A brief description (in writing) of the damage.

Custom Framed Products

Custom Framed Prints from Ken’s Custom Prints and Frames are all literally custom made by Ken himself. When you purchase a framed product from my website, you can expect the following:

1) The print itself is custom printed in my shop using only genuine Canon Chromalife Inks and Canon Photographic Papers;

2) Each frame is constructed of premium wood moulding that has been cut to the specifications of the particular product you have selected;

3) Framing segments are both glued and nailed at the corners for maximum strength;

4) Only conservation quality mat board and acid-free foam core backing are used in all of my products;

5) TruVue Reflection Control glass is used exclusively for the most stunning glare-free display of your product.

6) The containers in which all framed products are shipped are specially designed for shipping delicate framed products. Each container has an air-filled, two inch heavy cardboard inner wall surrounding the frame itself. This provides both an air and cardboard buffer around each frame for maximum protection in the event of a mishap in shipping. The container is likewise a minimum of 5 1/2 inches deep providing ample space above and below the product for protective packing material.

As you can see, great care is taken not only in the production of each framed product, but in packing and shipping as well. Therefore, it is incumbent upon you, my customer, to carefully select the framed product you wish to purchase. Product Returns will be limited only to an item verified as having been damaged during the shipping transit process, and any Refund will be limited to the repair and/or replacement (at our discretion) of the product itself as originally ordered. In order for a Return to be accepted, the item must be packaged in the same shipping container in which it was received along with its original packing material.
